Artist Statement:

“Trauma Is Not Your Fault, But Healing Is Your Responsibility.” I’m currently on my healing journey. My life was filled with so much chaos. When I finally found peace, I got bored. But I learned not to confuse Peace with Bordem. 

The hands signify that we control our destiny. The evil eye signifies that not everyone will understand your journey, and that's okay. The butterfly signifies that it takes time to heal and bloom into the person we are proud of. 

For many years, I doubted my art skills. "What if I’m not enough?" I feared, "What if they laugh at me, or what if I fail?" Now I say, "What if I finally fall in love with myself?"
