Story Behind the Work:
This piece is a love letter to my youngest daughter, created from a moment of stillness and imagination.
She is portrayed in a meditative state, surrounded by butterfly wings filled with corazones, sunflowers, and roses: symbols of love, joy, and growth. Above her rests the moon, representing intuition and protection. Behind her, soft sun forms and ancestral patterns reflect cycles of beginnings and continuity across generations.
This piece honors my daughter, the generations before her, and the generations yet to come, a reminder that children are already whole, already light, already connected.
